It's no secret that the church today has lost its influence in culture. But why? With the technology, affluence, and knowledge we have today, why are we less effective than the first-century church - which didn't have social media or fancy buildings or professional pastors or even religious freedom? What are we missing? In this vital, eye-opening book, best-selling author Ed Silvoso digs into Scripture, unearthing Jesus' true design for his church - his Ekklesia. He shows how the early church was a radical, countercultural force of people who transformed the hostile, pagan places in which they lived. Here Dr. Silvoso shows how we, in the midst of the social, economic, political, and moral chaos in our world today, can once again become the revolutionary, transformational, life-giving Ekklesia Jesus called us to be. One Ekklesia: The Vision and Practice of God's ...

The Lord Jesus said: I will build my ekklesia (Matt 16:18). It has been a conspiracy of satanic proportion where Christians have been tricked into thinking what the Lord wants is “church”. One Ekklesia is not condemning the churches of today, but it's bringing a completely new perspective relating to the One Body of believers God is building. The time has come for a much-overdue work on ecclesiology. By tackling biblical passages concerning God’s eternal purpose through illuminating exegesis of Scriptures, One Ekklesia unveils a fresh, inspiring, and motivating vision. Simultaneously, a radical approach is revealed to make this vision practical from day to day for every single believer no matter their station in life. One Ekklesia is not about how to improve your church, leave your church, or to start a better church. Rather, its vision and practice is to fulfill the Lord’s prayer for His people (whether attending church or not) to be ONE, so the world will believe. It is a practical oneness of diverse believers impacting the world. This will ignite the holy fire of God, spreading uncontrollably...the next and final revival. Each chapter of One Ekklesia is impactful - you will not want to pause this book! Those who have reviewed its contents are not only numerous - they are entrenched in the evangelization of the world in vibrant evangelical commitment to the Eternal Life, Truth of Scripture, and the Glory of His Service. This is a clarion call for radical Christianity which turned the world upside down in the first century! This is NOT a text on ecumenism where truth is compromised for a superficial unity - no, this is the work of the Spirit in the hearts and lives of those committed to following the Lamb of God and being the answer to our Lord’s prayer in John 17: That they all may be one...that the world may be believe the Father sent the Son! 1. The Dead Living Church: The Original Concept of...

The Dead-Living Church re-defines the concept of church (the true Ekklesia), her global positioning and her responsibilities according to the original intent of God. Jesus' declaration in Matthew 16, 'I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it' far outweighs the theological assumptions and religious beliefs about what church is supposed to be. This book is not a product of professionalism; it is a prophetic release by the Spirit of the living God. The Church is not a denominational gathering of religious people, but the Ekklesia, the people called for an assignment, the assembly of legislating on behalf of God on earth. This book will take you through a journey. Its intent assuredly will awaken your spirit man to experience a paradigm shift from "Churchianity" to that which is God's original intention. 1. Focusing on the early church during the 50 years that followed the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, The Emerging Ekklesia is a chapter-by-chapter reflection on the New Testament from Acts 1 through the book of Jude. Meant to be listened as a companion to the actual biblical text, it's filled with the author's personal insights, developed over a period of 60 years. Including numerous quotations from the New Testament, observations from early church fathers, and personal anecdotes from the author's 40-year experience with grassroots house churches, it spotlights the vigor and growth of early Christianity and explores the emergence of the church under the leadership of Jesus' teachings and the work of the Holy Spirit."You are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit." God called. He wants his church back. Many Christians have begun to recognize that God desires his church to function as an organism rather than an organization. After over 11 years of experience founding and facilitating a house church, author Keith Giles shares the insights he developed in the trenches. This book reveals what heaven expects from the church. It reveals what Jesus meant by "I will build my church". It is not a critique but a standard of spiritual measurement and divine alignment as to the definition of a true church. The true church (The Ekklesia) is not a denominational gathering of any kind, whether orthodox, charismatic, or Pentecostal. The true church is one that has placed primacy on building the dispensational temple (the man) only according to God's pattern. This book will be a great eye opener for you. You will no longer strive in the flesh anymore after going through this book. The issues of competition, comparison, sense of inferiority, and superiority complex, which are some of the distractions and strategies of the enemy, will be exposed. Your work and ministry with God will never remain the same. You can't listen to this book and still retain your old mentality and operating system. Whatever you are building for the Lord from now on shall be to the Lord's glory and according to his specifications. Personal agendas will be given up. Deeper truths and insights are made available in this book. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Bolton Marsh. Audio sample: http://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/051249/bk_acx0_051249_sample.mp3. Inhaltsangabe:Einleitung: Wir leiten unseren Begriff ¿Kirche¿ vom griechischen kyriaké (ecclesia) ab, was ¿dem Herrn gehörig(e Versammlung)¿ bedeutet.
